Quality Management
Process Control
The technology is based on a patented process that incorporates industrial knowledge, emission and technical control, using thermal treatment, chemical blending, particle size analysis and latest Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software. By a combination X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and Xray Diffraction (XRD) analysis and Helos particle size analysis (PSA),we provide a total cement solution for the chemical blending in our process.
The process is an environmental and economic solution to the industry’s requirements based on technical performance and fully integrated quality control systems to ensure technical reproducibility.
Analytical Systems for Chemistry Quality Control:

PANalytical Axios Elemental X-ray Analyzer
The Axios range of wavelength-dispersive XRF spectrometers is advanced, rapid and easy-to-use. All Axios versions are robust - built to assure you of the precision required in tough and typical production control environments. Axios instruments are designed to be incorporated in fully automated laboratory systems. Axios systems comply with all relevant international norms and standards. PANalytical Cubix PRO FAST Mineral phase X-ray Analyzer Industrial processes like cement manufacturing, chemical processing and aluminium smelting need rugged and efficient quality control systems. But, above all, they need fast systems! The CubiX PRO FAST brings speed, reliability and reproducible results to the analysis of key compounds for quality control in high-throughput industrial applications. Both systems can be integrated into fully automated laboratories such as those that PANalytical has successfully installed in container labs, on several occasions.
Sympatec Analytical Systems for Particle Size Distribution Quality Control
Sympatec Helos & Rodos particle size analyzer
The Sympatec Helos & Rodos PSA may be used for off line control of particle size analysis or the Sympatec Mytos & Twister may be employed for online control of particle size. The Sympatec Mytos & Twister in line laser diffraction combines to give representative sampling, dry dispersion and laser diffraction particle size analysis which is critical to our process. This system ensures that all materials are milled to pre-determined particle size distribution, which allows the process to minimise milling time reducing cost while maintaining precise technical performance.

Patent Approval
August 2007
After fifteen years of detailed research and thorough testing the patent for our Celtic Cement Technology process was granted 29th August 2007, patent number GB2401104. The patent was applied for on 29th April 2003 and since that date we have been working on perfecting the process and applying it to a commercial scale enviromnent. Further testing on a diverse range of industrial waste materials has taken place in the meantime with fantastic cementatious properties being achieved.
