Material selection and testing suitable for usage in the first production plant has been progressing, focusing on materials that can be replicated throughout the UK.
An alliance with Testing Solutions Wales has seen a further expansion in our research and testing capabilities. Access to extensive laboratory facilities and greater floorspace together with further investment in equipment means that we will can now produce test batches based on customer supplied specifications and available industrial by-products.

Cenin Cement Moves to Stormy Down

Best Presentation at the Global Slag Conference
We are pleased to announce that our technical paper and presentation was awarded 'best presentation' at the recent Global Slag Conference in Istanbul Turkey. Papers were presented to an audience of 140 delegates from 31 countries and ours was singled out from 11 other technical papers.

November 2007
We presented a paper at the Global Slag Conference in Istanbul, Turkey 19 - 20 November. We demonstrated how Celtic Cement Technology can improve both the properties of slag cement and its environmental impact.
Patent Approval
August 2007
After fifteen years of detailed research and thorough testing the patent for our Celtic Cement Technology process was granted 29th August 2007, patent number GB2401104. The patent was applied for on 29th April 2003 and since that date we have been working on perfecting the process and applying it to a commercial scale enviromnent. Further testing on a diverse range of industrial waste materials has taken place in the meantime with fantastic cementatious properties being achieved.
